Adapted code from One Day on Rails to display Italy.

Some trains go over water because I only included the locations of the stations, not the actual routes. The stations are connected to each other via the shortest path, which sometimes means crossing the sea.

The data comes from publicly available sources shared by Trenitalia and Trenord. However, some local railway operators, like Trenitalia Tper, do not make this data publicly available, so many routes are not present.
